Dr. Hisham S. El-Kadi is an award winning physician and researcher and is a highly respected educator in the field of Rheumatology. Born and educated in Alexandria, Egypt, Dr. El-Kadi graduated from Alexandria University Medical School and trained at its medical centers before coming to the United States to dedicate his work to the study and treatment of rheumatologic disorders.
Dr. El-Kadi trained and performed research in Rheumatology at Seton Hall University’s affiliated hospitals, Saint Michael’s Medical Center and Saint Joseph’s Medical Center; he was an instructor before becoming an Assistant Professor on the University’s faculty. Dr. El-Kadi founded Arthritis and Osteoporosis Associates over two decades ago. In addition to being the founder, chairman and medical director at Arthritis and Osteoporosis Associates, Dr. El-Kadi is presently the senior attending Rheumatologist at CentraState Medical Center, an affiliate of the Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center and is a:

Dr. James Fischkoff was raised in New Jersey, and comes from a family of doctors. He studied biology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and returned to New Jersey to attend medical school at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center. He completed his residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and University Medical Center at Princeton. Dr. Fischkoff did his fellowship training in Rheumatology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He has been involved in major pharmaceutical trials as well as academic research in clinical and basic science fields. Dr. Fischkoff welcomes his patients with an interest in their overall wellbeing. He brings his experience, warmth and a humanistic approach to healthcare to the patients here at the Arthritis and Osteoporosis Associates.
Dr. Fischkoff is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.

Director of Advanced Practice Providers
Nicole Zacour, NP, is the Director of Advanced Practice Providers at AOA and a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. With more than a decade of experience at AOA, Nicole is deeply committed to improving the lives of patients through attentive listening, individualized treatment plans, and collaborative care.
Nicole earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Gannon University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a near-perfect GPA of 3.97. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing, where she continued to demonstrate academic excellence. Her achievements include Gannon University’s Academic Award for Excellence in Nursing and consistent placement on the Dean’s List throughout her undergraduate education.
Clinically, Nicole brings a broad and well-rounded background, including experience in Internal Medicine, Intensive Care Units, and Home Health Assessments. This diverse foundation allows her to understand patients’ needs across the full spectrum of care—from acute illness to long-term chronic disease management.
During her long tenure at AOA, Nicole has developed extensive expertise in rheumatology, helping patients manage complex conditions with empathy, education, and evidence-based care. As a leader, she is dedicated to supporting advanced practice providers and fostering a team-based approach that ensures patients feel informed, supported, and confident in their care.

Nurse Practioner
N.P. Priyanka Patel obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Pace University, New York and Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Priyanka’s experience spans across multiple specialties including cardiology, internal medicine, and orthopedic trauma as a nurse for 6 years. Priyanka is a compassionate Nurse Practitioner who deeply cares about her patients, she has strong communication Skills while explaining medical conditions. She listens actively to ensure that patients feel they are heard.

Nurse Practioner
NP Lisa Mondiello is a board certified nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She obtained her bachelor of science in nursing from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY and Master of Science at CUNY Hunter in NYC. She is a licensed NP in New York and New Jersey. She worked as a staff nurse at Hospital for Special Surgery for almost ten years, specializing in orthopedics. She is deeply passionate about advocating and educating her patients about their disease processes. She is excited to be further advancing her own knowledge base and skills in the field of rheumatology and welcomes her patients with empathy and compassion.
