Reactive Arthritis (formerly known as Reiter’s Syndrome) causes painful joints, burning on urination and inflamed eyes. It typically happens after an infection such as diarrhea or an STD. If left untreated, the symptoms can be disabling. However, with the right medications the patient can have excellent relief of their symptoms.
